Binti Care Foundation Kenya is a community-driven organization dedicated to empowering girls and women through education, health awareness, and economic opportunities. We work to break barriers around menstrual health, advocate for gender equality, and support young girls to stay in school and thrive.
OUR FOCUS AREAS
BintiCare actively works to break menstrual stigma through open dialogue, education, and the provision of sanitary products. Their flagship program #padAgirl mobilizes community support to provide free sanitary pads to school-going girls who cannot afford them, ensuring that no girl misses school because of her period.
The foundation runs mentorship programs to educate girls about reproductive health, self-confidence, leadership, and personal development. This prepares them to make informed choices and become leaders within their communities.
BintiCare promotes financial independence by providing young women and mothers with vocational skills and entrepreneurial training. These programs aim to uplift entire households by strengthening women’s economic participation.
In response to severe food insecurity in West Pokot County, BintiCare launched the Lishe Kwa Mtoto initiative, providing school meals to children in vulnerable areas. The program improves school attendance, learning outcomes, and overall child health, ensuring that no child has to learn on an empty stomach.
At Binti Care Foundation Kenya, we believe that empowered girls and women create empowered communities. Yet, millions of girls still face challenges like period poverty, limited access to education, and harmful cultural taboos. We exist to break these barriers—ensuring every girl has the knowledge, resources, and support to confidently pursue her dreams and unlock her full potential.
